Jobs and housing to boost Calapan business district
Set for completion in December this year, Xevera Neo Calapan Phase I is seen to strongly beef up trade and commerce in the fast growing city, especially with its selection as official site of the Regional Government Center (RGC).
“Having the RGC in the city is already an honor in itself,” revealed City Mayor Salvador C. Leachon. “But, to have a premier residential-commercial area like Xevera Neo Calapan as site of the RGC is cause for celebration. The presence of a government center adds value to the property since it will drive business and employment opportunities into Calapan City,” Leachon explained.
Cong. Rodolfo G. Valencia cited that the project will generate 5,000 jobs during its construction period. With its commercial spaces, the project will attract various enterprises, creating even more jobs.
“It will become a popular hub for shopping and recreation, thus drawing in tourists and businessmen alike. It will also revitalize industries allied to real estate such as construction, architecture, interior design, paint, furniture and the like. For Mindoreños, these mean one thing: income augmenting opportunities via gainful employment and livelihood,” RGV emphasized.
“I saw the potential right from the start, said Globe Asiatique President and Chairman Delfin S. Lee. “In a thriving city, the property is certain to become a beehive of activities, especially with the relocation of government offices.”
Lee added that the sense of unity among its leaders is a sign of Xevera Neo Calapan’s future success, duplicating the triumphs of Globe Asiatique’s previous Xevera projects in Bacolor and Mabalacat, Pampanga
